Summerfield Associates founder and president Dotty Summerfield Giusti sits on the Board for the Memphis chapter of the Society for Information Management, a not-for-profit membership organization of senior technology leaders that represents over 65 local companies, educational institutions, and local governments.

The Memphis Chapter supports the growth of technological education by their community outreach programs, which include robotics programs at Shelby County Schools and Desoto County Schools, Tech Camp at Benjamin L. Hooks Central Library, and scholarships at Lemoyne-Owen College, Southwest Tennessee Community College, and the University of Memphis.

The local chapter is also committed to celebrating the amazing technology leaders and innovators in our area. In partnership  with Memphis Magazine, SIM-Memphis founded the MEMTECH Awards, which honor the very best in local technological achievement.
