We are so proud to see Lisa Barton, our Talent Acquisition Manager, featured among Memphis Business Journal’s Women Who Lead!

MBJ selected Lisa as part of their effort to honor professionals in the staffing industry, a profession that as we know was drastically challenged over the course of the pandemic and post-pandemic era.

As Summerfield’s Talent Acquisition Manager, Lisa harnesses the latest trends and tools in hiring, from social and virtual recruitment to automation, to help her match hiring managers with workers seeking employment.

MBJ notes Lisa’s work involves everything from “sourcing, attracting, interviewing, and presenting viable candidates to hiring managers.” Lisa is involved in every step of the process, from helping with the interview process, to getting to know candidates’ and company needs, and structuring offers.

MBJ writes, “Within staffing, the honorees help keep the local economy moving ahead by matching workers with employers in need of specific skill sets, including Memphis sector staples such as logistics to emerging local workforce areas like tech.”

Thank you, Lisa, for playing a vital part in the local economy – and here at Summerfield!
