Meet Lisa Barton, our Talent Acquisition Manager! With a focus on recruitment and account management, Lisa handles the client-candidate matching process from the initial intake call through the interview and potential placement. “I pride myself in finding the perfect candidate to fit the open position for the company,” she says. “My passion is making life-changing opportunities for my candidates while providing my clients the best possible employee.”

A native of Memphis, Lisa graduated Cum Laude from Christian Brothers University with a BS in Management. She holds certifications as a CPC (Certified Personnel Consultant) and a CTS (Certified Temporary Staffing). 

With over 30 years of experience in Human Resource Management and IT Recruitment, Lisa has been a top producer throughout her career, placing hundreds of individuals in Fortune 500 companies for both contract and direct hire. She enjoys working at Summerfield, thanks to the company’s personal touch! “We are a boutique firm that works very closely with our clients and their needs,” she says. “Summerfield is known for its integrity which is very important to me. When she’s not working, Lisa loves traveling to the beach, cheering on the Memphis Tigers, and cooking – especially preparing meat in her smoker.  

Fun fact: Lisa has won many awards and accolades in her career, including Account Manager of the Year and Recruiter of the Year. In October 2023, she was named as one of Memphis Business Journal’s Women Who Lead in Staffing!
